The three primary residing deities of the temple are Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra whose idols are decorated reverently as per the season.

Impressed by the feelings of devotion and admiring the respect people gave to Shri Jagannath Temple, Maharaja Ranjit Singh also donated massive amount of gold to the temple. Almost all of the great “Acharyas” and “Gurus” like Kabir, Guru Nanak, Adi Shankaracharya, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Tulsiads in Hinduism have visited the temple, enhancing its sacredness and authenticity in the mind of the devotees.
