Karan Sekhri – Hatha Jodi is a root of a rare herb found in the Amar Kantek hills of Madhaya Pradesh and in the Lumibani valley of Nepal. There grows a plant known as ‘Birvah’ amidst the thick forest undergrowth having blue and white colored flowers which resemble to that of Dhatura plant. When one digs around this plant, the earth exposes it two small sized roots. These roots seem like an arm with conjoined hand having claw like grasp as if joined for prayer which in itself is a wonder of nature.

Hatha Jodi is believed to be an incarnation of Chamunda Devi.
