Similarly ‘Atyant Nadi’ consists of Kritika, Rohini, Ashlesha, Megha, Swati, Vishakha, Uttrashada, Shravan and Revati. Now ‘Nadi Dosha’ is applicable when the groom and bride’s nakshtras are falling in the same Nadi group which is highly inauspicious. The reason behind these Nadi groups are their defined nature i.e. ‘Aadi Nadi’ group has a ‘Vaat’ or ‘Air’ nature, ‘Madhya Nadi’ group has ‘Pit’ or ‘Fire’ nature and ‘Atyant Nadi’ group has ‘Kaf’ or ‘Water’ nature.
