Q – Vikas Prabhakar, Chennai, India – Where can I find original ‘Lal Kitab’?
Karan Sekhri – The answer is ‘nowhere’, Lal Kitab has a very interesting history which I wish to share after going through you will realize this. Lal Kitab consists of totkas and other little remedies that one can perform in his or her daily routine without any major financial burden. The base on which these remedies are recommended is your birth chart. The most important factor which is and was behind its huge success was ‘universal’ approach which means a person from any country, religion or financial background can use the remedies mentioned in this book without hesitation of blemishing his own faiths or religious sentiments. Some people say it was originated in Persia or Arab and some say it was written by Ravana (from’Ramayana’) and some say it emerged from the sea that is why it is called ‘Samudrik’. During last 1-2 centuries so many different versions have led to this confusion. Every publisher or writer is rewriting the same with its own additions and subtractions. Some of the core content is still very useful and effective hence it is advised to take an opinion of a consultant or experienced person before doing any of the remedies mentioned in ‘Lal Kitab’.
