It was ironical that a branch of astrology born in India was studied and venerated by foreigners but it was ignored completely by Indian astrologers as they treated it as unholy due to being influenced and modified by Persians and Greeks. Ramal Shastra is believed to be an inspiration behind many other schools of astrology like the “Nadi Shastra” and “I Ching” compiled by the Chinese philosopher Confucius. As the Ramal Astrology uses dices and symbolic language to predict future, one using it has to be extremely cautious, performing calculations with lot of attention to the details.
